Why Strongpay?

Over the years we have worked to build a strong brand under the HowardSimon name. The vision remains but as we grow, we need a brand name that properly reflects our product, service, and culture in the marketplace. We love Howard. Yes, for those that don’t know, he IS a real person, and he is still a key part of our organization. We are ready to take the next step in our evolution. We are excited for a strong step forward!

When will this take into effect?

Immediately, effective 10/5/2023.

Will all branding be changed immediately?

That’s the goal! However, you may not notice everything. It could take us a few weeks to fully transition everything. There are decades of branding and documentation we have built, so it’s possible we may have missed something – even the smallest items.

Is HowardSimon Payroll going away?

HowardSimon Payroll is Strongpay! Nothing is changing other than the name, logo, email, and website. Otherwise, it’s business as usual.

Is HowardSimon Retirement (or any other services) changing?

No! We are changing the branding around HowardSimon Payroll to make our brand clearer in the marketplace. We wanted a name that we could grow and evolve with that also reflected our culture, vision, and service model.

Will we have to adjust ACH filters at our bank?

This may be required in the future, but for now, this remains the same.

Will there be a new MSA?

Yes, however, it will ONLY include a name change.

Is there a new phone number?

No — same phone number. However, will answer phone calls as Strongpay. The phone menu will be updated to say “Dial 1 for Strongpay. Dial 2 for HowardSimon Retirement”.

There is a potential to have a separate phone number for Strongpay in the future but for now there is no change.

What are we going to call “The Portal” going forward?

Strongpay or the Strongpay Portal!

What URL are people going to use to login?

https://login.strongpay.com will be the site moving forward but https://login.hsimon.com will point to the same website and work the same.

Are you changing the logo / name on all the reports?

Yes — the logo and name will change. Please email payroll@strongpay.com if you see anything not updated.

Are all your emails changing?

All HowardSimon Payroll emails still function. However, you should email your same payroll contacts at: [f.init][lname]@strongpay.com. HowardSimon Retirement emails and website will be unchanged.

Will the main website change?

A new refreshed website for Strongpay is live at https://www.strongpay.com!

I have seen the “a Strongpoint Partner” branding on your logo and LinkedIn. What is this?

Strongpoint Partners is the parent company of HowardSimon, Strongpay, and a collection of local / regional Retirement Plan Design and Compliance firms across the U.S. that includes Jocelyn Pension, Retirement Strategies Group (“RSG”), Retirement Planners & Administrators (“RPA”), and Pension Financial Services (“PFS”).
